Installing the Form Builder module

 

Thank you for purchasing the Form Builder module for WHMCS. This guide will walk you through the installation process using both FTP and cPanel. Please follow the instructions below:

Using FTP:

  1. Extract the Module Files:
    • After downloading the “form-builder-x.x.x.zip” file, extract its contents to your local computer.
  2. Choose PHP5.6-PHP7.1 or PHP7.4-PHP8.1 folder based on your server configurations.
  3. Connect to Your Server via FTP:
    • Use an FTP client (e.g., FileZilla, WinSCP) to connect to your WHMCS server using your FTP credentials.
  4. Navigate to WHMCS Root Directory:
    • In the FTP client, navigate to the root directory where your WHMCS installation is located.
  5. Upload the Module Files:
    • Locate the “modules” directory within the WHMCS root directory.
    • Upload the extracted “form-builder” folder (from step 1) to the “modules/addons/” directory.
  6. Activate the Module in WHMCS:
    • Log in to your WHMCS admin area.
    • Go to “Setup” -> “Addon Modules” and locate “Form Builder” in the list.
    • Click the “Activate” button next to “Form Builder.”
  7. Configure the Module:
    • Once activated, click the “Configure” button next to “Form Builder” in the addon modules list.
    • Fill your license key and then save the settings.
  8. Accessing Form Builder:
    • After the installation, you can access the Form Builder module by navigating to “Addons” -> “Form Builder” in your WHMCS admin area.

Using cPanel:

  1. Extract the Module Files:
    • Extract the contents of the “form-builder-x.x.x.zip” file on your local computer.

  3. Connect to cPanel:
    • Log in to your cPanel account using your credentials.
  4. File Manager:
    • Locate the “File Manager” icon within cPanel and open it.
  5. Navigate to WHMCS Root Directory:
    • In the File Manager, navigate to the root directory where your WHMCS installation is located.
  6. Upload the Module Files:
    • Inside the root directory, locate the “modules” directory.
    • Open the “modules” directory and then the “addons” directory.
    • Upload the extracted “form-builder” folder (from step 1) into the “addons” directory.
  7. Activate the Module in WHMCS:
    • Log in to your WHMCS admin area.
    • Go to “Setup” -> “Addon Modules” and find “Form Builder” in the list.
    • Click the “Activate” button next to “Form Builder.”
  8. Configure the Module:
    • Once activated, click the “Configure” button next to “Form Builder” in the addon modules list.
    • Fill your license key and then save the settings.
